The first ΣΑΕ Alumni Association Holiday Party in several years happened on Friday, December 9th, at the San Diego Yacht Club from 4-7 pm. And what an event it was.
Many attending bros said it was the most fun Holiday Party ever! Alumni donated unwrapped toys to Toys for Tots through a bin inside SDYC.
The bartender was great! Delicious appetizers were delivered to your conversation group, plus a full hors d’oeuvre table highlighted by beef sliders was available for grazing.
All age groups were in attendance, including current active chapter execs Caeden King (EA), Carter Stevenson (EDA), Luke Weaver (ET), and Soren Brown (Social) – and their gorgeous dates. Luke, reportedly freshly returning from success in Vegas, bid on virtually every silent auction item and took home several. Kip, however, won the cruise on Mike Pack’s yacht, so you’ll be wanting to give him a call and further secure your relationship status.
The special guest designation goes to 2023 Phi Alpha level member Mo Levich (Cal Theta ’75), who flew down from the Bay Area for the event. We’ll see him again at Founders’ Day on March 10th at the Catamaran!
It was a beautiful crisp-air evening at a wonderful venue with a marina frontage wrap-around deck (and heaters). Not bad. Odds are good for a repeat next year.
