Slated for September 22, 2018
The San Diego Area Alumni Association is pleased to again sponsor the regional Leadership Transition Forum at the Cal Theta chapter house. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, September 22ndfrom 9:00 AM to noon. Attendees will include the current executive officers from Cal Alpha Gamma, Cal Chi, and Cal Theta. Also attending are recent grads, actives, and alumni who previously held those positions. Many thanks to brother Austin Evans and Province Chi for sponsoring the breakfast to be prepared in the newer, incredible Cal Theta commercial kitchen (thanks Gary Losey & House Corp). Thanks also to brother Gary Martin, who again is lead coordinator for the Forum. Groups will segregate by executive office following opening remarks to discuss best practices to result in maximum success. Previous office holders will impart their knowledge and experience to the newly-elected officers, and ideas for improvement will be shared and discussed. The keynote speaker will then be introduced, followed by a wrap-up session for all attendees.
Last year’s keynote speaker was brother Major General Will Grimsley, who retired from active duty in the U.S. Army during 2013. Grimsley now serves as President and CEO of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation, a non-profit philanthropic entity which provides scholarships and leader development opportunities for young men of the Fraternity.
