In almost two years, the first Alumni Luncheon was held at the San Diego Yacht Club on November 16, 2021. This social event was a Phoenix moment following a Covid-19 spawned hiatus. Enthusiasm was very high among the attending brothers to get face-to-face social again in a no-mask environment. Our guest speaker was San Diego State University's basketball Head Coach Brian Dutcher, who tends to generate significant interest for the luncheons.
This event was no exception, with around 65 brothers in attendance. Coach confidently let everyone know this team had considerable talent despite some early performance shortcomings and would come together and play well at some point in the season. He didn't know when, and his comments were farseeing.
